Gyeongnam Technopark, 26 companies in Yeongnam region unveil AI solutions at Hannover Messe

Gyeongnam Technopark announced on the 8th that 26 companies in the Yeongnam region participating in the manufacturing AI convergence infrastructure development project unveiled their AI solutions at the '2025 Hannover Messe'. They set up a joint pavilion in the smart manufacturing zone and showcased AI solutions in manufacturing fields specialized for each region, such as automobile parts, machinery parts, intelligent machinery, steel, and chemicals.
From the 31st of last month to the 4th, a total of 6 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) were signed with global companies during the event. The number of export consultations for 26 companies in 5 regions was 555, and the cumulative consultation amount exceeded 6 million dollars.
The manufacturing AI convergence infrastructure development project is a project that will invest a total of 43.8 billion won (28.8 billion won from the national budget and 15 billion won from local budgets) over three years from last year to 2026 to solve problems at local manufacturing sites in the Yeongnam region with AI technology and develop and verify solutions. It is hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, and Gyeongnam Technopark is in charge of the project. Gyeongnam Techno Park has promoted the 'Demand-tailored AI solution development and verification support project' in cooperation with five regional support organizations, including Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, Daegu Digital Innovation Promotion Agency, Ulsan IT Industry Promotion Agency, and Pohang Techno Park.
A total of 26 companies participated in this Hannover Messe: ▲Codevision, JNE Works, Pointlab, WAFF, Roboticbox, DSP from Gyeongnam; ▲Soluwins, Signlab, Intown, Wooriworks, Thub from Busan; ▲Computermate, Bluesys, Oceanlight AI, MJ Vision Tech, J Solution from Daegu; ▲DeepEye, A-Tech, Macrover, NovaTech, Onbranding from Ulsan; ▲Point, Hangjaft, Impactive AI, Open Information System, AM Square from Gyeongbuk and Pohang.
JNE Works from Gyeongnam, Oceanlight AI, Computermate from Daegu, and Point from Gyeongbuk signed memorandums of understanding with companies from Germany, the Netherlands, and Sri Lanka for joint technology development and commercialization. In the technology presentation session, Poinlab from Gyeongnam, Bluesys from Daegu, and Impactive AI from Gyeongbuk presented vision inspection, productivity optimization, and facility predictive maintenance technologies, respectively.
Kim Jeong-hwan, the director of Gyeongnam Technopark, said, “In the midst of the accelerating trend of supply chain reorganization and industrial automation, we will further strengthen public-private cooperation so that companies in the Yeongnam region can grow into self-sufficient AI solutions in the global market.”
